About Me
My name is Brooklyn Saputo and I am a journalist for the cub Bark at Redwood High School. I have great passion for the arts, especially dance and musical theater. In the mornings I participate in leadership and I was the 2026 class treasurer for three semesters. I was also the business manager of the cub addition of the Bark. That was such an amazing opportunity where I learned about the behind the scenes of a news paper. I communicated with parents and students about scheduling and food. I also reached put to businesses and collaborated with them to out their adds in the paper. New York is my favorite place on the earth and I hope to live there someday. I love learning about my community and helping out in anyway I can. At the start of my sophomore year I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and that created this mental block for me so stop trying or putt myself out there. Through support from friends, family, and teachers, I learned that you can do anything you putt your mind to no matter if you think you can’t. I started to integrate myself back into activities and have grown so much since then.
